BYRD SOARS HIGHER THAN THE EAGLES The 28-21 victory
over Abilene High puts the Panthers one step closer to
claiming the 3-5A title, as well as bringing the
District Bell back to Permian. Both teams entered
the contest undefeated and state ranked. Mojo
becomes the only undefeated team at 3-0 and 8-0 on the
season, with Abilene falling to 2-1. Lee, Cooper,
Midland, and Odessa all sit with 1-2 records.
