In the nationally televised game
between Permian and Euless Trinity, the Mojo
defense reeked havoc on the Trojans - forcing
five turnovers in the 30-3 slashing. The
Panther offense took advantage of those
turnovers by putting 24 points on the
scoreboard.
After trading field goals, the Panthers set
their sights on
methodically keeping the Trojans
out of the endzone while cushioning the Permian
lead. Mojo's Eugene Neboh intercepted a
Denarius McGhee pass in Trinity territory. Four
plays later, Jamison Berryhill found the end
zone on a 6-yard run to give the Panthers a 10-3
edge. They would take that score into the
locker room.
The second half would be a display of total
Permian dominance. Taylor Byrd started it
off with a 28-yard strike to Melvis Pride and
Berryhill added more on a 4-yard touchdown run.
Trinity
trailed 24-3 entering the fourth quarter. By
the 10-minute mark, the Panthers owned the
Trojans and a 30-3
lead when Byrd launched a 30 yard TD pass to
Brian Nunez.

candles in front of the Field House, the
countless splinters from W.T. Barrett

graduate of Permian High School...
unless it's the Original,
all you have is imitation. MOJOLAND MUSEUM
