ODESSA -- The Odessa Permian scoring machine erupted for 52 points Friday night at Ratliff Stadium en route to a 52-14 Homecoming victory over Amarillo High. [MULTIMEDIA]

The Panthers got 105 yards and one touchdown from Jermaine Swearington. David Durell added 93 yards rushing, 73 passing and three total touchdowns (two rushing and one passing). Defensively, Permian forced three Amarillo High fumbles. One was returned 8 yards for a score by Jermaine Harris.

Abilene High 25, Dallas Skyline 6
ABILENE - The Abilene High Eagles defeated Dallas Skyline, 25-6. The Eagles never trailed in the game, and had a balanced attack with 112 yards rushing and 185 passing.  Skyline was held to 215 total yards by the AHS defense.

Abilene Cooper 42, San Angelo Central 19
SAN ANGELO - Abilene Cooper pounded the Central Bobcats, 42-19.  The Bobcats are former district foes of the Cougars.  Cooper scored 28 unanswered points in the first half to dominate the evening.  Quarterback Will Galusha threw three touchdown passes of 15, 33, and 26 yards. Cooper also scored twice on blocked punts.
