ALL-DISTRICT TEAM ANNOUNCED
Abilene placed 21 players, including 15 on the first team (six more on the second team).  Lee added 15 (10 plus 5), Midland 13 (8 plus 5), Cooper 10 (2 plus 8) and Odessa High 5 (2 plus 3).  Permian contributed six to the second team.

THE DISTRICT SENT THREE TO 7-ON-7
Permian and Abilene Cooper qualified on June 12, and Abilene High advanced on June 19.  The 7-on-7 tournament was held in College Station on July 16-17 with the 64 qualified teams competing.  All three were eliminated in the Quarterfinal Round.  Tyler Lee won the title.
